At Independent Hotel Show accessibility is important — helping to provide an enjoyable event for everyone.
Wheelchair access
There are 12 designated bays for Blue Badge holders in Olympia London's Motorail car park. There are 260cm x 480cm (8ft 6in x 15ft 9in).
These parking bays have a marked zone to both sides and rear. Please note that the wide bays are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. If you require a Blue Badge parking space, please remember to pre-book this online as space are limited.
The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user unaided. The surface on the approach is tarmac and there is one road to cross between the car park and the entrance. There is a wheelchair accessible registration counter in the National Hall foyer to assist with entering the event.
Lift access
There is a lift to enter the National Entrance as there are three steps with a depth between 30cm and 45cm. For more information on how to use the lift and to see images, please click here for the Access Guide concerning Olympia.
Venue access
Olympia National entrance is on the junction of Olympia Way and Hammersmith Road, just a short distance from Olympia tube station and motorail car park. Olympia National has a wheelchair lift in the foyer and a passenger lift to the gallery level.

Wheelchair hire at Olympia London
Olympia London can provide wheelchairs on loan to those in need, in receipt of a refundable security deposit. Wheelchairs should be booked in advance by submitting an enquiry using the Olympia Contact Us page. Your wheelchair can then be made ready for you on arrival at the venue.
Assistance Animals
Olympia London welcomes personal support animals at the venue during events. Please be aware that welfare facilities for support animals are not available onsite and all owners will be fully responsible for the actions of their animal, which will need to be kept under control and on a lead or harness or in a pet carrier.
Toilets
Olympia National has accessible toilets. Dimensions, visuals and exact locations can be found here.
All separate, accessible toilet facilities are unisex. There are also modified cubicles within the male and female toilets.
Catering Outlets
There are two catering outlets in the National Hall ground level; Eat Street and Live Well. There is also Coe’s Artisan Bakery on the gallery level which can be accessed via the passenger lift located in the North-West corner of the National Hall. Please ask a member of staff if you need any assistance.
The Quiet Room
Exhibitions and events are vibrant and dynamic environments, brimming with opportunities for learning and exploration.
However, they can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and triggering for many individuals due to the constant stimulation of lights, people, noise, and their outward-facing nature.
For Independent Hotel Show London 2024 we are working with EventWell to provide a quiet space for attendees who may feel overwhelmed by their surroundings. Our EventWell hosts are fully trained in safeguarding and mental health first aid and can provide support to anyone who needs a safe space to help manage sensory overload.
