The Independent Hotel Show collaborated with our partner, AA Media and caught up with The Novotel Manchester West: a recent Visitor Ready customer, to learn how the FREE digital accreditation platform has helped benefit their hotel business.
How did you find the sign-up process when applying for the Visitor Ready Scheme?
Very easy to follow, sign up process was simple and quick.
What part of the Visitor Ready scheme would you/your business find most valuable? e.g. automatic reminders, digital wallet, peace of mind that your properties are all up to date, belonging to a scheme backed by a reputable brand etc.
Automatic reminders are always a good thing so that we can keep a check on mandatory repetitive matters. It’s great that our guest can now see that we are “visitor ready” with a recognised and reputable brand.
How do you expect the Visitor Ready mark will benefit your business in the future?
Should keep us on track with mandatory safety issues, and the guest recognition of this can not be a bad thing, possibly convincing them to book with us rather than a competitor who isn’t “Visitor ready”
Have you shared the Visitor Ready digital badge across your marketing channels? If so, how do you expect this badge to benefit your business?
Where we can yes, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be the ability to do this on all third-party sites.
Based on your experience, how likely are you to recommend other Hoteliers to join the Visitor Ready Scheme? Please explain your reasons for your answer.
Low cost, low hassle way to consolidate mandatory health safety information, so yes likely to recommend others join.
Any additional thoughts or feedback you may have?
You could do to include more mandatory safety items; PAT testing, Annual Electrical circuit certificates, Ductwork Cleaning, Asbestos Register for instance?
