Frost @ John Planck are exhibiting at Independent Hotel Show London for the first time and we interviewed them to find out what you can expect from their debut at IHS23!

Tell us briefly what your business does

John Planck Ltd. are Architectural Ironmongers and the UK distributers for the Danish manufacturer of high-quality bathroom and interior design products, “Frost.” We specify and provide their complete interior line, alongside our other ranges enabling architects and interior designers to be creative with their building designs.  No matter what the project, we will have products to inspire and complete their architecture.

What differentiates your brand to competitors in the market?

We are using our 50 years of industry experience working with hotels to bring the Frost Denmark brand to the United Kingdom. This collaboration combines the best of British with the desirability of Danish Design. Specialising in a diverse product range helping us to provide a complete interior solution for rooms in all areas of the hotel.

The products’ designs are such that that the individual can express and create their own lifestyle themes to suit the projects’ surroundings, using desirable finishes such as Copper, Gold, and Matt Black.

Why is your product a good fit for independent and boutique hotels?

With our eye-catching finishes and unique Danish product designers, we have solutions that can create atmosphere, complement lighting, wall coverings and other furnishings, helping to complete the interior design giving their hotels individual styling, enabling them to create a luxury finish and stand out from the 'crowd.’

What can our hoteliers expect to see and experience on your stand at the show?

As well as meeting our friendly and knowledgeable team of experts, they can expect an insight into the product ranges on offer from Frost, including all the finishes that are available and to experience the kind of individual style that can be created through numerous combinations of the designs and finishes.

Are there any exciting trends that you are seeing in the hotel sector this year?

We are seeing a desire to create ‘warmth’ using multiple finishes including our most popular copper, gold and matt black.

What are you looking forward to most at Independent Hotel Show?

As this is the first time we have exhibited at the show, we are looking forward to introducing ourselves and the Frost range to the industry, meeting with (hopefully!) lots of independent hoteliers looking to add something different and unique to their hotels. Also, to hear clients’ ideas for what they want and need, to hopefully gain inspiration from real-life requirements.
