ReGuest was founded in 2014 by Michael Mitterhofer, Denis Pellegrini, and Stefan Plattner. The idea stems from their deep understanding of the needs of hoteliers, developed through a marketing agency they founded in 1999, specializing in the tourism sector, which is still operational today.

Re:Guest was developed to bridge the gap between emotional hotel websites and static offers, thereby solving the problem of often low conversion and booking rates. Additionally, hotel correspondence and guest communication have been significantly simplified and improved.

Over time, the software for creating emotional offers has been enriched with numerous innovations, significantly expanding its impact on the industry. Innovations include upselling features, newsletters, instant messaging, and an AI-based virtual employee named CR:IS.

ReGuest's vision is to maintain its status as the most advanced communication and sales software on the market. The mission is to support hoteliers in improving the sale of rooms and additional services while reducing the workload for staff. The use of the software should always be pleasant and beneficial for everyone.

Starting from the DACH and Italian markets, ReGuest has expanded its presence to Spain, the Benelux countries, Eastern Europe, and Greece, currently counting over 1,000 hotels.

As of December 2024, ReGuest is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. This represents a historic success for the company, being the first in South Tyrol to reach this milestone.
